What is Buddha Gear?

Buddha gear is all about spreading seeds of kindness and mindfulness with a cool kick and awesome brand! Everyone wears hats, headbands and beanies with someone else’s logo on it. We even pay other companies to advertise for them all over our bodies. Buddha Gear’s goal is to create a cool way to wear a symbol that people actually resonate with as opposed to being a walking billboard! We like to think of it as “an outward expression of an inner reflection…”

Our passion is helping more people enjoy the simplicity of meditation and mindfulness. Most of our gear is unique and hand made here in Utah, like our

Buddha Band, the original yoga, workout, meditation headband! Our Buddha bands are fashion and function with moisture wicking fabric and a hidden pocket that holds your chosen crystal over your third eye for better yoga, meditation and sleep. Every crystal has a different energy and vibration and facilitates a slightly different experience or journey when held over your third eye! Give it a try. Different crystal, different journey!  "My meditations and mindfulness practice including yoga and sleep took on a whole new dimension when I put a crystal over my third eye"! Every crystal has a different vibration and when you hold them over your antenna (third eye) you tune into a different experience.

From the Buddha band, we branched into Buddha beanies with fun and metaphysical symbols over your third eye and now we're making hats with the same symbols! How awesome that you can wear a hat with a symbol that resonates with you and raises your vibration! Also, for every beanie that we sell, we gift one to the homeless. It's all about being mindful and giving back... 

Who is Buddha Gear

Joy has been designing and selling hats for over 15 years, putting hats on over 200,000 women! Designing new styles and setting affordable trends is her passion. Jason has been an adventure guide and wellness coach for over 3 decades. Helping people connect with their inner child and find inner peace through personal experience and mindfulness practice is his passion!  Together they have a combined passion for giving back and helping people find peace and balance in their lives, while having fun in the process.

Meditation headbands, beanies and hats are just the beginning of our meditation and mindfulness gear. As a guide and wellness coach, Jason has traveled and studied with spiritual masters across the globe in order to share this wisdom with his clients and the world. Joy has the heart, talent and artistic expression to imbue this energy into her headwear designs. "Together we have created a brand that is speaking to a wide and diverse audience, meeting our goal to plant the seeds of mindfulness across our beautiful planet!"

Giving Back

Buddha gear is our co-creation to bring our own designs (Buddha bands, Buddha beanies) and other enlightened creations to the world. While creating mindfulness gear, we are committed to giving back to the community and for every beanie sold we will be gifting one to the homeless. The donated beanies will have an encouraging message inside the tag as a reminder to those receiving them that they are loved, seen and supported. We believe this vital part of our brand will create a ripple effect not only for the ones receiving donations, but also for those who are buying and supporting this cause-based brand. We also run seasonal contests on our social media and recently gave over 200 lbs of clothing and 100 of our fleece, heated headbands to the SLC homeless shelter and women's shelter.
